Manuel FIGUEIREDO
Since his election to the Township Committee, Manuel Figueiredo has focused his attention on a number of initiatives to improve the quality of life of those who live and work within the Township of Union.
Mayor Figueiredo has made public safety a priority and in 2022 introduced S.P.E.E.D. as a traffic enforcement initiative to better protect pedestrians and motorists alike.
Mayor Figueiredo was also a driving force behind the new Union Public Library, which is slated to open this fall. Mayor Figueiredo and the Township Committee have also partnered with various local, County, and State officials to improve and beautify the Townships’ many parks and sports complexes, including the Rabkin Sports Complex.
Mayor Figueiredo and his wife, Rosa, have four children, who are all products of the Township of Union Public School System.
Sandra Terrell
Sandra Terrell is a trusted hands-on leader who intends to bring her impressive background of operational excellence and implementation of competitive solutions based on organizational strategy and critical results to our Township Committee.
Terrell has long focused on working collaboratively and cross-functionally with her team and other leaders to develop and deliver results, build relationships and effect positive outcomes. Her innate ability to quickly and accurately synthesize and summarize complex information and
consolidate processes to maximize quality and efficiency is a welcome addition to the Union Township Committee.
Patricia Guerra-Frazier
Patricia Guerra-Frazier has dedicated her life to educating our community’s children. Her enthusiasm and creativity have only expanded over her 23 years as an educator, allowing her the opportunity to use her well-honed communication and interpersonal skills to enhance our childrens’ development and learning capabilities.
Guerra-Frazier takes particular enjoyment in the relationships built and ongoing lines of communication established with parents to provide the greatest possible learning environment for students. She continues to be a strong proponent of the need to adjust instruction to meet individual needs and utilize teaching strategies to effectively engage students while working in constant collaboration with fellow educators to develop and revise existing curriculum.
Patricia Guerra-Frazier is looking forward to working with Township Committee colleagues and Union Township residents in the same collaborative and constructive way that has made her last 23 years in education such a success.
